Silhouette
TCSA hosts weekly NRA smallbore Silhouette matches from mid May through September. Matches are held on the .22 rifle range on Wednesdays and start promptly at 6PM . Prior to the matches the range opens at 5:30PM for practice.
Smallbore Silhouette has competitors shooting at cast animal silhouettes (chickens, Javelina (pigs), Turkeys and Rams) scaled for smallbore competition at 1/5 the size and distance shot for high power silhouette matches The chickens are shot at 40 Meters, Javilina at 60 meters, Turkeys at 77 meters and Rams at 100 Meters.
