TCSA hosts weekly NRA smallbore Silhouette matches from mid May through September. Matches are held on the .22 rifle range on Wednesdays and start promptly at 6PM. Prior to the matches the range opens at 5:30PM for practice. In 2008 matches will start on May 14th and run through September 3rd.

Smallbore Silhouette has competitors shooting at cast animal silhouettes (chickens, Javelina (pigs), Turkeys and Rams) scaled for smallbore competition at 1/5 the size and distance shot for high power silhouette matches. The chickens are shot at 40 Meters, Javilina at 60 meters, Turkeys at 77 meters and Rams at 100 Meters.

In 2008 we are planning many new things. Here are a few 1) every week, rain or shine, two rounds of silhouette for one low price; 2) a weekly prize from our 2008 Silhouette sponsor Thompson's Grocery. More details as they become available and in the spring news letter.

The weekly match fee is $4.00 for adult non-members, $3.00 for TCSA members and $2.00 for new shooters. Juniors shoot for $1.00 and must be accompanied by adult.
